Maine Harvest Bucks (MHB), a vital initiative by the Maine Federation of Farmers' Markets based in Presque Isle, ME, empowers low-income families to access fresh, local produce through nutrition incentives. By offering $5 in Maine Harvest Bucks for every $10 spent using SNAP/EBT at participating farmers' markets, CSA farms, and farm stands, we make it easier for individuals and families to prioritize their health and well-being. Participants can utilize their earned Bucks immediately, or save them for future visits, ensuring they have the flexibility to make the most of their shopping experience. We are dedicated to fostering community health and supporting local agriculture, creating a sustainable environment where everyone can enjoy the benefits of fresh food.
