Located in Scarborough, ME, Direct Assistance by The Salvation Army is dedicated to providing essential support to individuals and families in need. Our comprehensive program offers food assistance, including groceries and personal hygiene kits, alongside clothing, housing help, fuel and energy assistance, and transportation services. We also connect people to vital medical resources and other beneficial programs. We provide up to $150 in emergency rent assistance to eligible residents of Old Orchard Beach, Saco, Biddeford, Dayton, and Arundel by appointment. Our goal is to ensure that everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive in their community.
