In South Portland, ME, the Expedition Community Supports Program offers year-round, community-based day services tailored to adults with developmental disabilities. Our mission is to foster active and healthy lifestyles through engaging activities that encompass healthy food choices, physical fitness, and community involvement. With opportunities for sports, hiking, gardening, arts and crafts, cooking, and even raising chickens, we create an environment where participants can form lasting friendships and gain new experiences. We believe in empowering our members through self-directed activities and community volunteer projects that enhance their lives and strengthen their connections. Individuals can access our program by qualifying for Section 21 or 29 Waivers through the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS), and self-pay options are available for those who do not have a Waiver.
