MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in South Portland, ME, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management solutions. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity annually and is provided with personalized weight management services tailored to their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! for support from home. For those who prefer a more independent approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app allows Veterans to manage their weight at their own pace. In situations where additional support is needed, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who have not met their goals through MOVE!.
