Maine Harvest Bucks (MHB), an initiative of the Maine Federation of Farmers’ Markets, is dedicated to enhancing food assistance for low-income shoppers in Standish, ME, and beyond. Through our program, we offer nutrition incentives to empower individuals and families to access fresh, local produce at participating farmers’ markets, CSA farms, and farm stands. For every $10 spent using SNAP/EBT at these locations, participants receive an additional $5 in Maine Harvest Bucks, which can be used the same day or saved for future purchases. Our mission is to foster healthier communities by making nutritious food more accessible and sustainable for all.
