The Maine Senior FarmShare Program is dedicated to supporting income-eligible older adults in Standish, ME, by providing them with the opportunity to receive a share of fresh, locally grown produce at no cost during the growing season. Each year, seniors can sign up directly with participating farmers starting in April for a valued share worth $50. This program not only promotes healthy eating but also fosters community relationships between seniors and local Maine farmers. Please note that shares are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, making it essential to apply early to secure your FarmShare.
