Maine Harvest Bucks (MHB), an initiative of the Maine Federation of Farmers' Markets, is dedicated to enhancing food assistance for low-income families in Topsham, ME by providing nutrition incentives that make local produce more accessible. Through our program, shoppers receive $5 in Maine Harvest Bucks for every $10 spent using SNAP/EBT at our participating farmers' markets, CSA farms, and farm stands. This allows participants to stretch their food budget further, empowering them to enjoy fresh, healthy produce while fostering connections with local growers. Earned Bucks can be utilized immediately or saved for future purchases, ensuring that everyone in our community can thrive with nutritious food options.
