The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Waldoboro, ME, empowers individuals to champion a food system that is equitable, sustainable, and community-focused. Through hands-on training and mentorship, we prepare our Fellows to educate and advocate for diverse agricultural practices that enhance food access and ecological awareness. Our tuition-free program includes immersive experiences at Allegheny Farm, where selected candidates learn about organic farming, community engagement, and health education. During the Fellowship, they'll gain practical skills in crop production, manage school and community gardens, and foster connections to local food markets. Our initiative prioritizes collaboration, allowing Fellows to implement valuable projects with regional non-profits and lay the groundwork for a resilient food system that benefits all.
