The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) based in Wells, ME, offers essential food assistance and nutrition education to income-eligible adults with children, particularly those enrolled in SNAP, WIC, or Head Start programs. Through our free classes, participants can learn valuable skills such as cooking nutritious recipes, selecting healthier food options, managing grocery budgets, ensuring food safety, and embracing a more active lifestyle. While our facilities are temporarily closed to prioritize community health, we are committed to continuing our mission by providing remote learning opportunities that include one-on-one and small group sessions.
