Located in Wells, ME, Financial Assistance for Families Working in the Restaurant Industry is dedicated to supporting food and beverage service employees who are facing financial hardship due to medical emergencies or illness. Our mission is to provide essential financial assistance to families in need, covering critical expenses such as rent or mortgage, utilities, medical bills and supplies, therapy, and funeral costs. We also help with childcare needs, including diapers and formula, as well as necessary travel and food costs associated with hospital visits. To ensure accessibility, former grant recipients can apply for assistance again after 12 months, with a lifetime cap set at $7,500 to ensure we can help as many families as possible.
