Maine Harvest Bucks (MHB) is dedicated to improving access to fresh, locally sourced food for low-income families in Wells, ME, through our nutrition incentive program. By providing $5 in Maine Harvest Bucks for every $10 spent using SNAP/EBT at participating farmers’ markets, CSA farms, and farm stands, we empower individuals to purchase nutritious produce. This initiative not only supports better health but also nurtures local agriculture. Whether participants choose to use their Bucks on the same day or save them for future use, our mission is to foster a more inclusive food system that celebrates community and wellbeing.
