Maine Harvest Bucks (MHB), part of the Maine Federation of Farmers’ Markets, is dedicated to expanding food assistance and access to fresh, local produce for low-income shoppers in Westbrook, ME. Through our nutrition incentive program, we empower participants by offering $5 in Maine Harvest Bucks for every $10 spent using SNAP/EBT at participating farmers’ markets, CSA farms, and farm stands. This initiative not only supports financial assistance for food but also encourages healthy eating by allowing participants to use their earned Bucks either on the same day or save them for future purchases. Join us in promoting nutritious choices and building a stronger community through accessible food options.
