At Maine Harvest Bucks, based in Wiscasset, ME, we believe in nourishing our community through access to healthy, local food. Our mission is to support low-income shoppers by providing nutrition incentives at participating farmers’ markets, CSA farms, and farm stands. For every $10 spent using SNAP/EBT, participants earn $5 in Maine Harvest Bucks, which can be used immediately or saved for future purchases. By bridging the gap between financial assistance for food and locally grown produce, we empower families to make healthier choices while strengthening the local economy.
