Located in Yarmouth, ME, the Portland Food Co-Op Grocery Store is dedicated to providing our community with access to quality food assistance and emergency food options. We proudly carry over 200 local products from Maine producers alongside beloved national brands. Our inventory includes fresh produce, meats, dairy products, vitamins, household necessities, and body care items, all designed to meet the diverse needs of our customers. Committed to inclusivity, we accept SNAP benefits and participate in a program that offers free local produce for SNAP users. In light of COVID-19, we have adjusted our hours to prioritize the safety of vulnerable shoppers, reserving the first hour for those who are immune-compromised, disabled, or elderly. Join us in supporting local agriculture and nourishing our community, one meal at a time.
