The Maine Senior FarmShare Program in York, ME, offers income-eligible seniors the chance to receive a $50 share of fresh, local produce from Maine farmers at no cost during the growing season. By signing up directly with a participating farmer starting in April, older adults can enjoy the benefits of healthy, locally-sourced food while fostering connections with the agricultural community. Available shares are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so early application is encouraged to secure your opportunity for nutritious food assistance and support local farming.
