MOVE! is a dedicated weight management and health promotion program located in Adrian, MI, specifically designed to enhance the well-being of Veterans. Committed to addressing obesity, MOVE! screens every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities annually and connects them with tailored weight management services. Our program offers a variety of treatment options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home support through messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who face ongoing challenges despite participating in MOVE!. To join MOVE!, Veterans can reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider for guidance and support on their weight loss journey.
