Open Door’s Client-Choice Food Pantry in Clarkston, MI is dedicated to providing essential food assistance and care items to individuals and families facing financial hardships. Our food pantry is designed to serve a diverse community, including low-income families, seniors, single parents, disabled veterans, and anyone else in need. Each month, we offer free groceries to those who struggle to afford enough food, ensuring they receive nutritious options. To access our services, clients must provide a picture identification, proof of residency, proof of household income, and proof of child custody when applicable. The quantity of food and personal care items distributed is based on household size. We also offer clients vouchers to our resale store seasonally. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19, we have adapted our operations to provide drive-up food distribution for added safety, requiring only a picture ID for service. Regardless of race, color, or religion, we welcome everyone to find the support they need with us.
