Helping Hands Food Pantry is dedicated to serving the Flat Rock, MI community by providing essential food assistance and vital support services. As the primary food pantry in the area, we offer emergency food boxes—including meat and bread—on a weekly basis for those in need. In addition to food, we extend our services to include hygiene products, clothing, furniture, and household items whenever possible. We are committed to assisting residents facing challenges such as utility shut-offs and evictions, providing holiday food baskets, and offering Christmas assistance. Our outreach also encompasses referrals to additional help agencies and the provision of baby items like strollers and cribs. We proudly sponsor a nursery at Downriver High School to support teenage mothers in their education and provide working women’s clothing to facilitate their return to the workforce. Alongside these practical services, we offer spiritual support through grief, divorce recovery, and financial counseling, ensuring that all our neighbors receive the comprehensive help they deserve.
