Gold Avenue Christian Reformed Church, established in 1929, serves the Grand Rapids community with a commitment to social support. Located just two blocks west of the downtown GVSU campus, this church plays a vital role by operating a food pantry and coffee shop on Friday afternoons, addressing local food security needs. Though it currently lacks an organized congregation, it is supported by Westend CRC, demonstrating community collaboration. The church’s initiatives not only offer essential services but foster a spirit of connection and outreach within the neighborhood. By addressing local challenges, Gold Avenue Christian Reformed stands as a beacon of hope, inviting the community to engage with its support services and become part of its mission.
