At the Detroit Food Zoo in Grosse Pointe, MI, our Youth Nutrition Workshops are dedicated to empowering local youth with vital knowledge about healthy eating and the significance of community nourishment. Through engaging activities that blend nutrition education with hands-on gardening, participants learn not only the importance of fresh foods but also the joy of cultivating gardens that directly support food assistance efforts for those in need. Our workshops instill a sense of responsibility and connection, showing young people the impact of their efforts in feeding the hungry and fostering a healthier community. Join us in nurturing the next generation of mindful eaters and community advocates.
