At Senior Services in Hamtramck, MI, we are dedicated to enriching the lives of over 1,600 seniors in the Detroit metropolitan area through a wide array of vital services. Our mission revolves around providing essential food assistance, fostering friendships, and ensuring nutritional support, alongside senior advocacy and accessible health maintenance services. We prioritize the wellness of our community by offering exercise and fitness programs, transportation services, and engaging social and recreational activities, all designed to enhance the quality of life for seniors. Our computer learning center and special events promote lifelong learning and connection, while our intergenerational programs strengthen bonds across age groups. Although all activities were temporarily suspended due to COVID-19, we continue to support our members with carry-out lunch options every day from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. Membership is available for just $10 annually for those aged 60 and over, and for $36 for Associate Members aged 55-59, making it easy to join our welcoming community.
