Located in Jenison, MI, the YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program is dedicated to empowering individuals at risk for Type 2 diabetes with the knowledge and support needed to achieve sustainable, healthy lifestyle changes. Our mission is clear: help participants lose 7% of their body weight and gradually increase physical activity to 150 minutes each week. Over the course of 25 engaging sessions, you'll join a supportive community of like-minded individuals guided by trained Lifestyle Coaches who will educate you on healthier eating habits, effective physical activity, and essential behavior modifications. Together, we can reduce your risk of diabetes and enhance your overall well-being.
