The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) at Michigan State University is dedicated to empowering families in Macomb, MI with the essential knowledge and skills for healthier living. Our mission is to support limited-resource adults who plan, shop, and prepare meals for children by providing vital nutrition education. We focus on fostering positive dietary behaviors and lifelong healthy habits among those expecting a child, as well as grandparents and caregivers who regularly nurture children. Through hands-on learning experiences and practical advice, EFNEP is committed to improving food choices and enhancing the overall nutrition of families in our community.
