Nightingales Harvest is dedicated to providing essential food assistance and hygiene products to cancer patients and their families in Portage, MI, and surrounding areas. Understanding that proper nutrition and personal care can significantly impact recovery, we serve as the only free cancer family pantry in the region, offering both perishable and non-perishable foods, hygiene items, and cleaning supplies at no cost. Our unique approach includes personalized home visits to assess individual needs, home delivery of supplies, and referrals to additional community resources. We work closely with cancer agencies, hospitals, and caregivers to ensure that those in treatment and their families receive the necessary support during and after their journey, up to three months post-treatment. Nightingales Harvest is committed to closing the gap in access to nutritious food and essential hygiene, ensuring that our community's cancer patients can focus on healing.
