At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Temperance, MI, we are dedicated to cultivating a just and sustainable food system through hands-on education and community engagement. Our program empowers Fellows to become advocates and educators for social, environmental, and economic justice in the food landscape. We provide comprehensive training in organic food systems, enabling participants to grow and distribute diverse crops, manage school and community gardens, and lead educational workshops that enhance food and ecological literacy. Without charging tuition, we ensure accessibility to our Fellowship, allowing selected Fellows to immerse themselves in experiential learning at Allegheny Farm for six months, followed by a Community Action Year where they apply their skills with local non-profits.
