The Community Food Shelf in Aitkin, MN, has proudly served our community for over two decades, providing essential food assistance to those in need. Operated entirely by dedicated volunteers and supported by generous donations, we have reached more than 1,000 households, averaging around 140 households each month. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food, helping to meet basic nutritional needs in times of hardship. We welcome residents to visit us on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month, where proof of residency is required to access our emergency food services.
