Located in Aitkin, MN, Family Support, part of the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA), is dedicated to assisting individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome and their families. Our Family Support team provides vital resources and care at a crucial time of diagnosis, offering accurate information and comprehensive assistance tailored to each family's needs. Our services include parent mentoring, nutritional education to promote healthy meal planning, behavior management support, and assistance navigating the complexities of applying for Medicaid, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
