Throughout their journey, Fellows will learn to grow and distribute a diverse range of crops, implement innovative health care educational sessions, maintain community and school gardens, and promote food and ecological literacy. Fellows also play a crucial role in supporting farmers markets, developing distribution channels to enhance access to healthy foods, and mentoring future participants. Over a six-month, experiential fellowship followed by a Community Action Year, these passionate individuals apply their skills in collaboration with local non-profits, driving meaningful change in the community and fostering sustainable food practices.
