The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Oncology Program in Austin, MN, is dedicated to providing tailored care for cancer patients aged 15 to 30. Our compassionate multidisciplinary team works closely with patients and their families to develop personalized treatment plans that encompass medical, emotional, and social support throughout every step of the journey—from diagnosis to recovery. We believe in the power of partnership in care, bringing together a diverse group of specialists, including physicians, nurses, psychologists, and social workers from both our Children’s team and Allina Health’s Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Our program addresses the distinct needs of young adults facing cancer, including challenges related to school, work, financial and insurance issues, and personal relationships. We also offer opportunities to participate in clinical trials aimed at advancing cancer treatment and enhancing quality of life. Accepting most insurance plans and providing options for those without insurance, we are committed to ensuring every young adult receives the care they need at this critical time in their lives.
