The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Becker, MN, empowers individuals dedicated to creating a fair and sustainable food system. This transformative program offers comprehensive training in organic food system education, fostering the next generation of advocates and educators. Fellows engage in hands-on experiences at our partnership farm, where they learn to cultivate and distribute diverse crops while implementing innovative health care educational sessions and maintaining community gardens. Our mission is to ensure accessibility to healthy food through support for farmers markets, direct-to-consumer initiatives, and community food coalitions. Selected participants benefit from a six-month immersive, residential experience, followed by a Community Action Year, allowing them to apply their training with local non-profit organizations. Applications are welcomed until March each year, with the program running from May to October, making a meaningful impact in the Becker region and beyond.
