Located in Belle Plaine, MN, the CAP Agency’s Food Shelf is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families facing challenging circumstances. Our mission is to help bridge the gap during tough times and empower our clients toward self-sufficiency through a supportive approach. With our consumer choice model, clients can select food items that best meet their needs, receiving a 5 to 7-day supply of emergency food once each month. We also connect our customers with additional resources to support their journeys. To access our services, visitors must provide a photo identification for at least one adult and proof of address, such as a recent utility bill or lease. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we operate from 9:00 a.m. to 2:40 p.m., Monday through Friday, and we can arrange home deliveries for those unable to visit due to illness or transportation issues.
