The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Belle Plaine, MN, is dedicated to empowering individuals to become advocates for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equality. Through comprehensive organic food system education, this fellowship offers a transformative six-month experiential program at Allegheny Farm, followed by a Community Action Year where Fellows engage with regional non-profits. Participants will gain hands-on experience in diverse agricultural practices, health education initiatives, and community garden management, all aimed at enhancing food access and promoting food literacy. Committed to inclusivity, the Fellowship waives tuition fees to ensure that aspiring leaders can join the movement for sustainable food systems. Applications are welcomed until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
