In Big Lake, MN, Food Shelf is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Our mission is to ensure everyone has access to nutritious food in a welcoming environment. Operating on a first-come, first-served basis, our clients can visit us once per month without the need for an appointment. While we are currently distributing pre-packaged food boxes due to COVID-19 safety measures, we are committed to meeting each household's unique needs. First-time clients will have the opportunity to meet with our intake specialist to facilitate their access to emergency food services. We also understand the challenges faced by high-risk individuals and are actively working to establish a food delivery service for eligible seniors and those with respiratory conditions. At Food Shelf, we strive to empower our community with the support and resources necessary to thrive, ensuring that no one goes hungry.
