The Meals on Wheels Program in Big Lake, MN, part of Catholic Charities, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to homebound individuals aged 60 and over across 44 communities in Central Minnesota. Our mission is to deliver nutritious noon-hour meals directly to the homes of seniors who are at risk or unable to prepare meals for themselves. This vital service is tailored to meet the needs of each individual, ensuring that those who cannot leave their homes still receive balanced meals that promote health and wellbeing. In light of COVID-19, our program has adapted to offer a combination of hot and frozen meals, with clients receiving up to seven meals each week.
