Located in Brainerd, MN, the Food Shelf is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families facing hardship, including low-income families, single parents, seniors, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and the working poor. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food to support their basic needs. Our food pantry is open to the community on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, offering a welcoming environment for those in need to receive emergency food support. Walk-ins are welcome during our operating hours of 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., making it easier for individuals to access the help they need, though we suggest being prepared for possible wait times.
