The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship based in Cannon Falls, MN, is dedicated to building a food system that is just, sustainable, and inclusive. Through our comprehensive program, we empower Fellows to become knowledgeable advocates and educators in organic food practices. We focus on hands-on learning, allowing participants to cultivate and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health education, and actively engage in community gardens and farmers markets. Our Fellowship is tuition-free, promoting access for all aspiring Fellows. Following a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, participants enter a Community Action Year, where they collaborate with regional non-profits to apply their skills and support local food initiatives. By integrating food and ecological literacy into educational settings and fostering increased access to healthy foods, we are committed to shaping a resilient food system and mentoring future leaders in the field.
