Located in Cedar, MN, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed) is dedicated to empowering low-income families and individuals, especially those utilizing or eligible for SNAP, with essential nutrition education. Our engaging and interactive classes emphasize practical skills designed to help participants make their food dollars go further while enjoying nutritious meals. In our sessions, attendees will explore healthy, budget-friendly recipes, develop effective meal and snack spending plans, discover food storage techniques to extend shelf life, and learn simple ways to enhance physical activity. Accessible both in-person and via Zoom, SNAP-Ed strives to build a healthier community one family at a time.
