At the Youth Drop-In Center in Champlin, MN, we provide a welcoming and safe haven for young people aged 16 to 24 who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Our center offers a range of essential services designed to empower and support youth in their time of need. Here, individuals can access hot meals, personal care items, clothing, and emergency food through our food pantry, as well as facilities for showering and laundry. We assist with transportation needs through bus tokens and passes, and offer educational support, including GED services. Our dedicated team also provides job search assistance, help obtaining vital documents like photo IDs, and access to technology through computers and phones. We collaborate with Hennepin County to ensure eligibility support services, along with options for shelter and other housing resources. Additionally, we feature an onsite health clinic through Health Care for the Homeless and provide mental health care and support groups for youth who have faced victimization or violence.
