At YouthLink's Drop-In Center in Champlin, MN, we offer a welcoming haven for young people aged 16 to 24 who are facing homelessness and housing insecurity. Our priority is to create a non-judgmental environment where youth can relax, restore their spirits, and access vital services that make a difference in their lives. We provide essential support, including nutritious hot meals, personal care items, clothing, and a food pantry, alongside facilities for showering and laundry. Our center also assists young individuals with transportation by offering bus tokens and passes, while supporting their educational pursuits with GED services. We connect youth with job search resources and employment assistance through our dedicated partners, and help them obtain necessary identification and documents. With access to computers, phones, and mail services, alongside eligibility support through Hennepin County, we strive to empower our youth in finding shelter and navigating housing options. Our onsite health clinic supports physical health, while mental health services and support groups are available to those who have faced victimization or violence.
