The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Duluth, MN, is dedicated to cultivating a just and sustainable food system by training and empowering passionate individuals as educators and advocates. This unique fellowship offers a tuition-free, six-month experiential program focused on organic food system education, ensuring accessibility for all participants. During their time at the program, Fellows engage in hands-on learning while growing and distributing diverse crops, maintaining community gardens, and integrating food and ecological literacy into educational settings. Through partnerships with regional non-profits, they develop innovative solutions to improve access to healthy foods, support farmers’ markets, and promote community food initiatives. Following this immersive experience, Fellows enter a Community Action Year to apply their skills practically, continuing their commitment to food justice and community betterment.
