Food Shelf, part of the Inter-County Community Council, is dedicated to serving low-income individuals and families in East Grand Forks, MN, who face challenges in accessing affordable and nutritious food. We offer emergency food assistance by providing carefully packed food boxes that help supplement existing resources. In response to the ongoing challenges presented by COVID-19, we have implemented a convenient drive-thru model to ensure safe access to our services. To receive a food box, residents can call ahead to pre-order, providing their name, contact information, and the number of people in their household. Food boxes are available for pick-up on Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., allowing us to support our community during difficult times while ensuring everyone has access to wholesome food.
