MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in East Grand Forks, MN, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and provided with tailored weight management services that align with their unique needs. We offer a range of options, including supportive group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and innovative TeleMOVE!, which allows in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans to manage their weight independently. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may need further assistance after exploring other MOVE! options.
