Located in Excelsior, MN, the Food Shelf is dedicated to providing emergency food assistance to all residents of Minnesota without any boundaries or restrictions. We understand that everyone faces challenges, which is why we offer vital support to low-income families, single parents, seniors, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and the working poor. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to food that meets their basic nutritional needs. We encourage new clients to pre-register with us for a smooth experience; simply visit us or reach out during our hours from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday through Thursday. No identification or proof of residency is required, and we proudly serve individuals from every zip code. Together, we can combat food insecurity in our community.
