The Weekend Pack Program, based in Excelsior, MN, is dedicated to alleviating hunger among students in the South Washington County School District 833. We focus on providing essential food assistance to K-12 students who need a little extra support. Our program delivers easy-to-prepare, nonperishable food items each week, ensuring that students have nourishing meals over the weekend. Volunteers, staff, and faculty team up to distribute these weekend packs, with each pack containing enough food to provide the equivalent of three meals. By addressing food insecurity at a critical time, we aim to foster a supportive environment where every child can thrive, regardless of their circumstances.
