YouthLink's Drop-In Center in Excelsior, MN is a welcoming refuge for youth aged 16 to 24 facing homelessness and housing instability. Our center prioritizes creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where young individuals can relax, restore, and access vital services during the week. We offer essential resources including hot lunches, personal care items, clothing, and food assistance through our pantry, alongside facilities for showers and laundry. Young people can also receive bus tokens, GED support, job search assistance through our partners, and help acquiring vital documents like photo IDs. In addition to access to computers, phones, and mail services, we provide eligibility support services through Hennepin County and assistance in finding shelter or housing options. Our onsite health clinic, in collaboration with Health Care for the Homeless, offers comprehensive medical and mental health care, including a support group for youth who have experienced victimization. We invite young people in need to visit us during operating hours to discover how we can help.
