Head Start in Forest Lake, MN, is a free child and family development program dedicated to empowering eligible families in Ramsey County. With the highest Parent Aware rating, our mission is to deliver high-quality, comprehensive services that set young children on the path to success in school and life. We place a strong emphasis on parental involvement, offering services that include early learning, health and development screenings, nutrition assistance, and family support. In response to COVID-19, our University Head Start center is currently operating with smaller class sizes to ensure safety while providing necessary resources for families utilizing Child Care Assistance or a Pathway 1 Scholarship.
