The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Glencoe, MN, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to advocate for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Our program offers comprehensive organic food system education, enabling selected Fellows to engage in impactful activities such as growing and distributing diverse crops, facilitating health education, maintaining community gardens, integrating food and ecological literacy into school curricula, and supporting local farmers markets. Through a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year, Fellows apply their skills in collaboration with regional non-profit organizations to enhance food accessibility and promote sustainable practices. We prioritize accessibility by not charging tuition for our fellowship, ensuring that those passionate about improving the food system can participate. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience running from May to October.
