The Senior Food Shelf in Hopkins, MN, is a welcoming resource dedicated to providing food assistance to older adults, ensuring that their unique nutritional needs are met with care and respect. Our compassionate staff and volunteers assist visitors in selecting from a variety of fresh produce, meat, bread, and shelf-stable items, allowing each individual to 'shop' for the 20 pounds of food available during their monthly visit. In addition to essential food items, we also strive to offer pet food and hygiene products when possible. To enhance safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, we now require clients to schedule appointments in advance for their visits, and we proudly offer free home delivery for those unable to come in person. We invite seniors in our community to come and experience our supportive environment designed to help meet their basic nutritional needs.
