At the Youth Drop-In Center in Hopkins, MN, we provide a welcoming and safe environment for young people aged 16-24 who are facing homelessness and housing insecurity. Our center serves as a refuge where youth can relax and access essential services during the weekdays. We offer a variety of critical resources, including hot lunches, personal care items from our food pantry, and clothing. Young individuals can utilize our shower and laundry facilities, receive transportation support with bus tokens, and get assistance with GED preparation and job searches through our dedicated onsite partners. We also help youth obtain vital identification documents and provide access to computers, phones, and mail services. Our eligibility support services connect youth with Hennepin County resources, while our onsite health clinic, provided by Health Care for the Homeless, addresses their medical needs. We also focus on mental health care and offer a support group for youth impacted by violence or exploitation every Wednesday evening. We are committed to empowering and uplifting vulnerable youth in our community, ensuring they have the tools and support necessary to rebuild their lives.
