About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Jordan, MN, is dedicated to nurturing future leaders in sustainable agriculture and food justice. Our fellowship program empowers participants to become advocates for a socially, economically, and environmentally just food system. Through hands-on training and education, Fellows engage in vital activities such as organic farming, community gardening, and innovative health education, all aimed at promoting food access and ecological literacy. This immersive six-month experience at the Allegheny Farm equips participants with the skills to work with local organizations, enhance food distribution channels, and support farmers markets. We strive to create an inclusive environment without tuition fees, ensuring that all passionate individuals can join us in making a tangible impact on their communities. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship running from May to October.
